One important way of accomplishing this goal is providing delicious, healthy, and inexpensive meals. I want to share with you and learn from you how to do this within the context of the average home. One school of thought encourages time consuming, involved, and often expensive meals that are admittedly healthy. But since I work part-time outside my suburban home, I don’t have the time or equipment to grind my own grain and I’m not even allowed to raise chickens. That doesn’t mean, though, that I have to settle for cheap, quick meals that are unhealthy. This website will not only share attainable, healthy recipes that will become your family favorites, but also methods and tips to help you modify your own favorite meals. In addition, it will serve as a forum for all of you to share your ideas.
Having dinnertime together as a family has always been a priority for me. But now, having a teenager in the home, I am starting to realize that opportunities for dinner with the whole family are numbered. Feeling good about dinner is not just feeling good about the food, but the time spent with one another as family. To this end, this website seeks to be a forum for mutual encouragement not only about the food, but also about making dinnertime special.
