Menu Plan for the Week of June 3

We Have a Winner!
Thank you for all who participated in the Tropical Traditions coconut oil giveaway. A winner has been chosen by random.org and has been notified. I wish all of you could have won! I also want to thank Tropical Traditions for generously sponsoring this giveaway. This was my first giveaway with a company so I was very green, but Tropical Traditions was so helpful and supportive. I couldn't have asked for a nicer company with which to work!

Pizza Meat Loaf
Side Benefits to Menu Planning
I have some yummy meals planned for this week. One of the benefits of making a menu plan is that we all get to look forward to the meals we will enjoy. I love seeing Mark or the boys look at the menu on the refrigerator and say, "Oh good, we get...for dinner." Before making menu plans, the boys would walk in the door after school or Mark would call and ask what we were having for supper. I hated that question! I had no idea and was just starting to think about it. Now the question doesn't bother me because it was already planned.
Cheesy Mashed Potato Cauliflower Bake
The other benefit to menu planning I have noticed is that we enjoy our favorites more often. When I didn't plan ahead we only had what I could pull together last minute. I was just noticing that we don't eat spaghetti nearly as often as we used to. We love spaghetti and it's so easy, but there are a lot of other things we love and a little planning and thawing ahead makes them just as accessible after work on a weeknight.
